In these works on paper, Mondrian inspired window lites and Anne Truitt pillar candles appear with Minor Threat fliers and Nest thermostats in order to create absurdly opulent, yet spatially disjointed, interior and exterior spaces.

The Rogue Wave paintings are compulsively made paintings on paper that employ the visual language of gestural abstraction codified into improbable, cartoon-like waveforms. The title of the series is taken from a seldom observed and unpredictable ocean wave phenomenon that produces gargantuan waves capable of swallowing ships.
